On June 9, 2024, Rail to Trail supporters gathered for a 18 mile group ride starting in Avon, South Dakota and ending at the 605 Unity Jam in Wagner, SD. While the group utilized highways 50 & 46 for their journey, we envision one day enjoying a Rail to Trail connecting these communities and offering a new experience for bicyclists. Dr. Jerome Bentz lead the ride. It was a great time with a great group of people, let's do it again sometime!
