"I grew up in the Platte/Academy area. After graduating from SDSU I taught school for 32 years at Todd County in Mission, SD. My wife, Deb and I moved to Pickstown in 2013. I do sales and tech support with Career and Technical Education programs. I am the cross country coach for the Andes Central/Dakota Christian Sports Coop."

"I graduated from Tyndall Public High School and USD, Vermillion. I worked near Charlotte, NC before retiring and returning to Tyndall. I enjoyed cycling in the Uwharrie Mountains, NC. I've also biked the Virginia Creeper Trail. I believe a recreation trail on the NAPA-Platte line adds to the quality of our area."
